Questions in Nature

​This week during our weekly Outdoor Education class, we went for a walk outside. I asked the students to bring their notebooks and a pencil on our walk, and to write down every question they had about nature. When we came back inside, the students wrote their questions on the board and researched their questions. After finding the answers to their questions, they wrote them under their questions, and we discussed as a class. Some of the questions included “How many different types of birds are there?” and “How tall is the tallest tree on Earth?”. The students enjoyed themselves and kept coming up with questions after we came inside.
